DescriptMy core message for Broken Wing Massage Retreat is that it stands for creative healing and the art of dealing with pain. That is my motto—because although we are all the same in some aspects, there are ways in which each person is entirely unique. Sometimes it takes an element of creativity to really get us to the place where we want to be.
When it comes to massage therapy, I always start by asking, “Hey, how are you doing?”
Their response is (probably) that they aren’t doing great, since they are coming to a massage therapist. I use creative approaches to dealing with pain because we need to constantly create for ourselves the life we want.
Regardless of who you are—if you're an athlete, couch potato, thin, heavy, young, old—it does not matter. We as humans are never going to be completely free of pain, so it’s useful to learn the art of dealing with that challenge.

My vision now, and the reason that I'm doing this, is because I want to create a place where people can come and truly focus on healing. That's why I'm creating a whole experience. When you come to Broken Wing, I want it to be about learning, about teaching about creativity.
I want it to truly focus on that person's experiences and how to use their time wisely so that in the future they can have the ability to know exactly what's going on with their bodies or their pain

That is a very good question. I am starting my own studio, and want to have a cabin. I have all these ideas, but my end goal is to teach people—as many as I possibly can—that it’s going to be OK and that we can get through anything, mental or physical.
My goal is also to inspire as many people as possible in this lifetime, and help them realize that they are amazing souls who can crawl their way out of any hole or any pain or anything else in life. Because we are really that amazing.
